Kivra’s digital post service will be closed on December 1, 2026. Important information about the closure

28.8.2026

Dear Kivra customer,

As previously announced, together with Posti we have agreed on an arrangement under which our digital post services in Finland will be transferred to Posti. Kivra’s current digital post service will be permanently discontinued on Tuesday, December 1, 2026

The transfer of Kivra’s digital post service to Posti will already be visible to our customers earlier in the fall. Messages that were previously delivered through Kivra will start to arrive in Posti’s OmaPosti application to customers already using it as soon as the companies and organizations sending the messages start using Posti’s service.

In this bulletin, we have compiled important information about the change. To make the transition from Kivra’s service to Posti’s OmaPosti service as easy and smooth as possible, please read the instructions below carefully.

Download OmaPosti by October 6

To ensure that digital letters, invoices and other important messages continue to reach you, please make sure that you have activated Posti’s OmaPosti application by October 6, 2026. If you already use OmaPosti, there is no need to create a new account. Please note that sender settings in OmaPosti are not activated automatically, so remember to update your preferred sender settings in OmaPosti.

New digital mail will start arriving in your OmaPosti application in September and October as companies and organizations that have previously used Kivra’s digital post services start sending messages through OmaPosti. During the transition period, some invoices and letters may continue to arrive in Kivra, depending on the sender, while others may be transferred to OmaPosti earlier.

Posti will not activate OmaPosti for you automatically. If you do not yet have Posti’s OmaPosti application, you can download it from your phone’s app store, such as Google Play or the App Store.

Save your important information

The arrival of digital mail in Kivra’s digital post service will cease during the fall. Invoices and letters that have previously arrived in Kivra’s service will not be automatically transferred to OmaPosti. If you want to keep these messages for yourself, you will find a function in the Kivra app where you can easily and quickly download them to your device.

Note! Various event tickets purchased from ticket services, such as Tiketti, will be automatically transferred to the user’s OmaPosti, as long as the user has activated the OmaPosti application by October 6, 2026. If you do not want event tickets to be transferred from Kivra to OmaPosti, you must close your Kivra customer account before October 6, 2026. You can find instructions on how to delete your Kivra account on Kivra’s website: https://kivra.fi/faq_en/how-do-i-stop-using-kivra/

Invoices received in Kivra should be paid by December 1

When Kivra’s digital post service closes on Tuesday, December 1, 2026, the payment of invoices through Kivra’s service will also end. It is advisable to pay the invoices received in the Kivra app well in advance, as the invoices will not be transferred from the Kivra service to the OmaPosti service, and they will therefore not be available after December 1, 2026 when the service closes, if you have not downloaded the invoice to your device.

Checklist

  1. Activate the OmaPosti service as soon as possible, but no later than October 6, 2026.
  1. Download letters, invoices, documents and other information from Kivra’s service before December 1, 2026, if you want to keep them. These will not be transferred to OmaPosti.
  1. Event tickets for ticket services will be transferred to the OmaPosti app if you have started using it before October 6, 2026.
  1. Pay all invoices you have received in Kivra before December 1, 2026, so that you have the necessary information when paying the invoice.

Posti’s customer service will help you with any questions. You can reach our customer service through the Chat function of the OmaPosti application or by phone at 0100 5577.

Best regards,

Kivra
