Paying with Kivra is getting an upgrade – invoices can now be scheduled for payment on the chosen day

During February, paying invoices with Kivra will become even smoother and easier. The service will now enable users to have greater control over their finances and pay bills on their preferred schedule.

Paying with Kivra will still occur as an account-to-account payment in accordance with the EU-wide Payment Services Directive PSD2. However, with the upcoming update, payments can be scheduled for a chosen day or directly on the due date of the invoice.

“We are continuously developing Kivra while carefully listening to the wishes of our customers. Scheduled payment has been one of the most requested features around payment functionalities. We wanted to make this feature available to our users as soon as the PSD2 interfaces from banks and our payment service partner Neonomics made it possible,” says Kivra’s CTO Tony Träskelin.

In the service, paying will now resemble the experience of online banking payments, enriched with the administrative benefits of the digital mail service. In Kivra, invoices are automatically archived per sender, and the service provides reminders of new invoice arrivals, approaching due dates, and potential overdue invoices.

The new payment features are available to all users of our service in all the latest versions of the Kivra app. Keeping the apps up to date is crucial not only for accessing the latest features but also for security reasons.
