Log in to your Kivra account and send a new verification message to your email address. Then, go to your email inbox and confirm your email address for Kivra.
Alternative method to verify your address — Go to Settings. In the Settings section, open My details and locate the email field. Open the email edit view and save your email address again. Shortly after, you will receive an automatic email from Kivra containing a verification code. Enter the code in the designated field in Kivra and save.
If you don’t receive the one-time code, please check your email’s spam or junk folder.
How do I register for Kivra?
You can register as a Kivra digital mailbox user by visiting kivra.fi or by downloading the Kivra mobile app from your phone’s app store. Using Kivra and accessing its services is free of charge.
Registration is done through strong electronic identification, using online banking credentials or a mobile certificate. Your name, address, and personal identity number are automatically retrieved from the Digital and Population Data Services Agency after authentication.
After completing strong identification, you will need to manually enter your email address and phone number in the service. These contact details are used to notify you when new digital mail arrives, when a due date is approaching, or if it has passed.
All set! You are now a Kivra user. You can receive mail from over 40,000 senders and securely store your own documents in the service.
My phone number changed — How can I update the new phone number in Kivra?
Log in to your Kivra account and go to Settings — My Information — Phone Number. Update your phone number by clicking the pencil icon on the right side of the field, then enter your new phone number to replace the old one.
How do I delete my Kivra account?
Instructions – How to close your Kivra account:
Log in to Kivra, either via the website at kivra.fi or using the mobile app.
Open the More menu (three dots).
Go to Settings and select Account.
Choose Edit your Kivra account.
In the Close your Kivra account section, click Confirm and then select Close your Kivra account.
Done — your account is now closed!
After closing your user account, you will no longer receive new digital mail in your Kivra inbox. You can still access your closed Kivra inbox for 45 days. If you change your mind during that time, you can cancel the account closure from your account settings.
Your Kivra account will be permanently deactivated 45 days after closure, and all your data and stored documents will be deleted permanently and cannot be recovered. Please make sure to transfer any documents you wish to keep outside the service within those 45 days.
After closing your Kivra account, any invoices previously sent to Kivra will be sent to you as paper mail. Some senders may charge an additional paper invoice fee.
